puerto plata or punta cana, dominican republic?

I’m an 18 year old Dominican girl going to the Dominican Republic with my best friend in December. we want awesome nightlife, great hotel, good restourants, beautiful beach, snorkling, diving, banana boatin, everything! which part of the DR would be better for us Puerto Plata or Punta Cana???

you will have a better time in puerto plata, all punta cana really has is a nice beach and the mangu disco….
puerto plata has lots to do!
cabarete is awesome theres a resort there called viva tangerine, dont know if there are any more… the clubs are right on the beach and there is alot of surfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing events going on… playa dorada is where the best night life is.. the 4 best clubs in puerto plata are there (hemingways, roadway, spice, coco bongo) open all night and full of locals and tourists!
there are more than 15 resorts in playa dorada for you to choose from…!
